And the journey continues, past Lake Mead.
All I can say is thank goodness the area directly around Lake Mead is protected, otherwise homes would probably have been built right up to the waters edge. Quite an ingenious feat of engineering though, the way they built that hill.
I found a little road off the beaten path, and tolerated yet another spectacular sunset…ho hum. ( )
