If It Is My Time ~ A Poem by Roxy Whalley

If it is my time

to reach my horizon,

and learn what is on the other side,

I am okay with that.

If it is my time

to leave behind the pain,

and difficulties of this life,

I’m okay with that.

I am an adventurer,

a traveler.

My life has never been easy

because of the path I have chosen.

A forever changing, shifting, path.

But I’m okay with that.

I am ready for a new adventure,

If it is my time.

  1. Hi Roxy,
I’ve noticed the change in your writings lately and this one really hit home. I’ve been tip-toeing on the the same fine line between worlds for
5 years, in fact that is why I can no longer be out there with all you good folks. I know something of your struggles so I wanted to wish you well and thank you for the years of writings about your experiences out there. You’ve made allot of people happy over the years. If you find it to difficult to keep your site up I hope you find someone to pass it on to so everything doesn’t get lost as is what happened to my site. I’m sorry I never met you in years past. Best wishes on your journey Roxy.

    • I’ve been writing for a long time now, and I actually wrote this back in 2011. It seems such a waste not to share some of my past writings since so much went into them. As for the blog, don’t worry, it will continue. I may not be able to post as often during the summer months, but it will fire up again once my time is my own once more. Thanks for the kind words and comments, and I’m glad I got to meet you too. Take care. Roxy
