One set of boot tracks in the snow, a solo hiker seeking solitude on a lonely trail.

Does the cool January air help this person to think? Do the occasional blustery winds help to clear his mind?

Perhaps she listens carefully to the gentle sound of the pines dancing with the wind, the chatter of a squirrel announcing her arrival, the thud of hooves as a pair of startled deer takes flight.

Did he come here to escape, and if so, what was he escaping?

Maybe family, or the stresses of work, or perhaps, perhaps, she came here simply to escape society and its accompanying madness.
