This Space Between ~ A Poem by Roxy Whalley

The Blue Marble” photograph of Earth, taken from Apollo 17

~ ~ ~ ~

Limited to feet on soil,

to air,

no gills,

between the universe and the ocean.

This is my prison.

What would it be like to travel beyond gravity

into the mysteries of space.

The depth of watery darkness.

I must leave this body that binds.

Become energy.

Oneness with all.

Will this be death

Or a new life.

  1. I love stuff about space and the cosmos. This poem is wonderful! I just copied it and put it in my journal to remember. Thanks! Hope all is well with you and Studley. Hugs – ANNE
